David J. Virga | Fantasy Author
Epic tales of Sacrifice, Redemption, and the Strength of Chosen Bonds
Debut Author of The Valkyries
In death, three warriors are chosen by the gods to ascend as Valkyries, sworn to defend the realms against Asgard’s ancient enemy—until that same evil infects one of their own, tearing their sisterhood apart.
Stripped of their divine gifts and scattered across Midgard, they must claw through guilt, grief, and betrayal back to each other—before the darkness that consumed them devours the World Tree itself.
Three fallen warriors. One last hope.
About The Author
David J. Virga is an engineer by trade but a storyteller at heart. What began as a simple short story of fallen heroes finding redemption evolved into The Valkyries—an epic tale of fate, chosen bonds, and redemption.
Like the Valkyries themselves, his writing journey became a saga of its own. What started as a flicker of an idea roared into a blaze, consuming him entirely.
Today, all his skills as an engineer—discipline, organization, execution—serve a new purpose: storytelling.
Inspired by years of Norse mythology and epic fantasy across books, shows, movies, and games, The Valkyries tells a tale of rising to greatness, falling to despair, and fighting to rise again.
Curious what led an engineer to become a writer?
